Ravi was a curious boy from Class 8 who always wondered what made a house a home. One day, his teacher gave him a project — to ask people if their home was a place of love, peace, and happiness. He went around his school and neighborhood with a list of questions. Some children smiled and said yes, they felt safe and happy at home. A few others said they couldn’t do what they liked, or didn’t have much space. Ravi was surprised — not everyone felt the same about home.

He discussed the answers with his friends. Most people felt home was where they could relax, invite friends, and care for their parents. But some said they wished their home was more peaceful. Ravi wrote in his report, “Home is not just walls and a roof — it is where we feel loved, secure, and free to be ourselves.” That day, he understood the real meaning of a home.
